Bio

Candy Sullivan came to Bromagen Commodities in the spring of 2003. She grew up on a farm, and today maintains a feeder cattle and purebred seedstock operation. After graduating from college, Candy spent ten years as a cattle buyer. She learned to utilize risk-management and hedging from some of the leaders in the industry. This helped to develop her interest in commodity trading and especially risk-management.
Her experience as an order buyer provided her with extensive contacts in the cattle business, as well as an acute understanding of the cattle industry. She credits the friends and contacts she made as a cattle buyer as critical to her success as a broker specializing in the agriculture segment of the commodity business. She maintains many of those friends and contacts still today, and utilizes those contacts to stay connected and up to date on market fundamentals.
